• Convenient packets of refrigerant sealed between layers of durable, flexible plastic film provide greater thermal efficiency than wet ice without mess or damage to samples. Laminated plastic film withstands pressures of 60 psi for more than 5 minutes. The packets stay cold longer than ice and also help protect refrigerated samples against breakage.
