Service kit for our SS-24SS Super Sealer machine

Kit contains the following:

• 1 ea. silicone rubber sealing pad
• 1 ea. micro switch
• 5 ea. 3 mil PTFE tape
• 1 ea. arm spring and anchor
• 3 ea. 10 mil PTFE tape
• 1. ea. fuse
• 1 ea. nichrome wire w/connectors

DIRECTIONS FOR PTFE TAPE REPLACEMENT

1. Remove worn silicone rubber pad from metal channel.
2.  Place new silicone rubber pad inside metal channel.
3. Clean new silicone rubber pad with rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth. (Pad needs to be cleaned before applying PTFE tape.)
4. Apply PTFE tape (10 mil) to top of silicone rubber pad.
5. Remove worn tape from flexboard on bottom of sealing arm. (If not already done.)
6. If there is a yellow or brown film residue built up on the flexboard, it will need to be scraped down to  the gray before PTFE tape will stick.
7. Apply new PTFE tape (3 mil) to flexboard over nichrome sealing wire.
8. Extra pieces of PTFE tape have been included for future use.
