These combination packages contain all the components necessary to ship etiologic agents in accordance with DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 173.196 and ICAO Technical Instructions Chapter 6. The shippers are designed for use by laboratories, hospitals, clinics and infectious disease specialists.

Each shipper consists of a foam container molded of high-density expanded polystyrene, a screw-cap aluminum can, flexible foam insert, clear plastic press-lock bag, absorbent pad, corrugated carton and easy to follow packaging instructions. Foam has four predrilled holes in foam insert to accommodate supplied tubes.
